Maryann Conner Memorial Trophy

The Maryann Conner Memorial Trophy is annually awarded to the Traditional Classification Champion. This award was donated in 2021 by Mr. Christopher Cortez in honor of his grandmother, Maryann Conner. Maryann loved life and had a calling for helping those in need. She was often found helping out in civic organizations when she wasn’t enjoying life being a mom and being with her family. Maryann’s Irish heritage was the inspiration to Mr. Cortez’s plaid selection for his kilts when he competed as a Scottish drum major; He wanted to honor her then and continues to do so now. This trophy will continue to honor Maryann’s great legacy.
